Emily graduated from Hesser College's Physical Therapist' Assistant program in 2005.  While at Hesser, she received the clincal excellence award in her senior year. After interning at Scaccia PT, Emily joined the staff full time for two years before reducing her hours to return to school.  She has been accepted to the doctoral Physical Therapy program at Franklin Pierce University where she will graduate in 2010.  She continues to work part time at Scaccia PT&SC.

Emily's mix of personality and attention to detail combine to make her an excellent clinician.  She is attentive to the patient and is able to work aggressively when it is necessary to achieve results.  She enjoys the manual aspect of therapy, taking the time to work the soft tissues via mobilization and massage to acheive the desired outcome.  Her positive attitude makes the patients comfortable and confident.

Emily has an extensive athletic background as a competitive swimmer.  She now utilizes her swimming expertise with biking and running to compete in area triathalons.  She has completed multiple sprint traithalons and is aiming to add longer triathalons to her resume'.
